Manny Pacquiao Knockout

Manny Pacquiao knockout not at the boxing ring but at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). His fantasy film with special effects entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival was the last in the rankings at the box office earning only 750,000 at the first day of showing of Wapakman.

The top grosser, Ang Panday top the rankings with 16.9 million, starring actor-politician Bong Revilla followed by Ang Darling kong Aswang of Vic Sotto with 16.8 million and Shake, Rattle and Roll with 16.2 million, according to MMFF official Ric Camaligan.

Manny Pacquiao failed to deliver blows that will enticed the movie going public to his film. Manny Pacquiao is popular to his fans as a boxer, an athlete but not as a politician and movie actor. Manny Pacquiao is popular as super boxer but not as a super hero.

Even the intrigues like the Manny Pacquiao-Krista Ranillo failed to attract the moviegoers.

With this Manny Pacquiao knockout at the box office not at the boxing ring the Pambansang Kamao should concentrate on boxing instead. The fans have spoken.
