Manny Pacquiao TKO's Cotto in round 12! Manny Pacquiao, the people's champion dethrones Migue Cotto with his brand of firepower that Cotto was not able to match in their MGM Grand fight in Las Vegas November 14, 2009. Manny Pacquiao made history by garnering his seventh class division belt more than De la Hoya who had six and other boxers with the same record; Thomas Hearns, Dela Hoya, Pacquiao, Hector Camacho and James Toney.
Manny Pacquiao has won the following divisions: flyweight (112 pounds), super bantamweight (122 pounds), featherweight (126 pounds), super featherweight (130 pounds), lightweight (135 pounds), and light welterweight (140 pounds).
Manny Pacquiao showed the viewers and the whole world what a fighter should be. Ruthless. Ferocious. Fast. Brilliant. Strong. The characteristics of a very good fighter, a great fighter.
Cotto was bloodied and his faced was severely bruised by the machinegun fist of Manny Pacquiao. According to statistics, the people's champion threw 276 punches two of them down Cotto in the third and fourth round.
Cotto said that Manny Pacquiao is the best fighter that he encountered in all his fights and the greatest fighter ever. " He jabs and throws. I didn't know from where the punches were coming and I didn't protect myself from the punches."
I will post here next time the Manny Pacquiao TKO's Cotto in Round 12 video.
