The growing resentment of Freddie Roach arise from the question where they are going to train. Freddie Roach wants to hold their training in Mexico while Team Pacquiao wants it in Baguio City Philippines.
According to Roach, if the training is in the Philippines, Pacquiao will be distracted. Roach is very concerned with Miguel Cotto as an opponent for Pacman, which is not like in the Paccquiao-dela Hoya and Pacquiao-Hatton fights.
This means that Roach is not confident Pacquiao will demolish Cotto so he wants to be sure by training Pacquiao to the maximum. To shield Pacman away from distractions like women and politics?
But Manny Pacquiao is the boss of himself. No one tells him where to train, who to fight and how much money he will accept for his bouts. But Manny should mend the fences now before it is too late. Frustration on the side of Freddie Roach may be heading to a disaster.
