Shane Mosley might be the next opponent of Manny Pacquiao. Freddie Roach wants Manny Pacquiao to train hard for six full weeks at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles to anticipate the Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley battle.

Roach admitted that Pacquiao needs to stay focused and train hard because Shane Mosley is a threat. Pacquiao has speed but so has Mosley. He will give Manny trouble because he is also experienced. A different type of boxer compared to Antonio Margarito, and is a much better boxer.

Manny Pacquiao celebrates his 32nd birthday




Manny Pacquiao celebrated his 32nd birthday with a big bash and million prize and a car. He raffled 1 million pesos and a brand new Toyota Vios car and appliances. The party was held at the KCC Convention and Events Center in General Santos City in the island of Mindanao, Philippines.

More than a thousand guests attended the birthday bash including Bob Arum of Top Rank promotions and his coach Freddie Roach. His rival Mayweather meanwhile is languishing in jail for a misdemeanor.

Manny Pacquiao performed 3 songs for the guests.

Nonito Donaire defeats Wladimir Sidorenko




Nonito Donaire defeats Ukrainian Wladimir Sidorenko in the fourth round for the bantamweight division last Sunday.

Nonito Donaire (25-1, 17 KOs), another Filipino boxing sensation from the Bay Area, dominated Sidorenko (22-2-2, 7 KOs) from the beginning, sending the Ukrainian down three times with power punches.


Donaire pummeled Sidorenko with a left hook midway through the first round, then put him down with a left hook-straight right combination. Wladimir Sidorenko, his face covered in blood from maybe a broken nose, went down from another left hook in the third round.

A left-right combination sent Sidorenko to a knee midway in the fourt and was not able to get up. The former bantamweight titleholder had never been stopped in his career.

Nonito Donaire defeats Wladimir Sidorenko convincingly with his power and will fight with Fernando Montiel scheduled for February 19, 2011.
