Noynoy Aquino: Labor Contractualization

Noynoy Aquino
, the son of the late President Corazon Cory Aquino and Ninoy Aquino not in favor of abolishing labor contractualization. Noynoy Aquino who is gunning for the presidency of the Philippines on May 2010 elections will not sweep the labor votes that comprise a big chunk of the voting population.

Noynoy Aquino favors the rich more and not the laboring masses. His political party, Liberal Party, favors the employers more than the downtrodden workers. Noynoy should think about the majority of the population than the minority elite politicians and rich families if he want to get votes.

Noynoy Aquino should dialogue and get advises from labor sector leaders, from the masses of the poor if he wants to get the sympathy and votes of the workers.

Labor contractualization is a bad policy that must be abolish to alleviate the misery of the workers. The number of regular workers dwindled because of this contractualization policy. This generation will be a generation of contractual workers without benefits enjoyed by regular workers and employees. Imagine workers without company sick and vacation leaves.

Noynoy Aquino's statement on labor contractualization will not help his presidential campaign. Well maybe his statements on labor contractualization comes from his natural instinct as an employer, their family family owns Hacienda Luisita, who are bent on squeezing the laborers; low wages and no benefits, to extract more profits from the sweat and blood of the laboring masses.

If you are a wage earner and a contractual laborer or employee, are you going to vote for Noynoy Aquino who is pro labor contractualization?

Note to God Lyrics Charice

A good song coming from our very own Pinay wonder... Note to God by Charice Pempengco. I have posted here the Note to God lyrics by Charice so fans could view it and also sing it ala diva. LOL.

Charice Pempengco is one of the shining stars coming from the Philippines like Manny Pacquiao, and the vocalist of Journey, Arnel Pineda. They are stars coming from scratch, from the bottom ladder of society and hit the big time in the US and the world.

Note to God lyrics Charice

If I wrote a note to God
I would speak whats in my soul
I'd ask for all the hate to be swept away,
For love to overflow
If I wrote a note to God
I'd pour my heart out on each page
I'd ask for war to end
For peace to mend this world
I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

If I wrote a note to God
I would say what on my mind
I'd ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world
Until these times
If I wrote a note to God
I'd say please help us find our way
End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts
And I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

No, no no no
We can't do this on our own
So

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

If I wrote a note to God

Gilbert Arenas of Washington Wizards suspended indefinitely

Gilbert Arenas
of Washington Wizards was suspended indefinitely and without pay by Commisioner David Stern of National Basketball Association? Why? What was the cause of indefinite suspension?

According to reports, Gilbert Arenas, the ace guard of Washington Wizards, brought a gun at the locker room. And that was the cause of suspension? Gilbert Arenas taste the stern discipline of the Commisioner, the father of NBA.

Well that's the NBA rules... if you have a gun don't bring that in the locker room. Guns are not allowed in the basketball court... hehehe. Anyway, why bring a gun? Are there threats in his life?

So kids don't follow the footsteps of Gilbert Arenas of Washington Wizards.
