Nonito Donaire defeats Ukrainian Wladimir Sidorenko in the fourth round for the bantamweight division last Sunday.

Nonito Donaire (25-1, 17 KOs), another Filipino boxing sensation from the Bay Area, dominated Sidorenko (22-2-2, 7 KOs) from the beginning, sending the Ukrainian down three times with power punches.

Donaire pummeled Sidorenko with a left hook midway through the first round, then put him down with a left hook-straight right combination. Wladimir Sidorenko, his face covered in blood from maybe a broken nose, went down from another left hook in the third round.

A left-right combination sent Sidorenko to a knee midway in the fourt and was not able to get up. The former bantamweight titleholder had never been stopped in his career.

Nonito Donaire defeats Wladimir Sidorenko convincingly with his power and will fight with Fernando Montiel scheduled for February 19, 2011.

Roach said during the press conference in the Dallas Cowboy stadium in Arlington Texas: Don't be surprised if this fight ends in the first round. The storming of the tourist bus by the police SWAT after 14 hours of negotiation and 8 dead tourist drew commentaries, condemnation and a lot of hatred to the Philippine government (mis) handling of the hostage drama.

The Philippine National Police display their skills and wares to the world public eyes. The new government of PNoy was not yet ready to this kind of situation? How sad. After getting praises for the last relatively credible automated election, the Philippines now got flak from the world for this unprofessional police operation.

PNoy instead of smiling after his occular inspection of the incident, should show sympathy to the families of the victims and apologized to the Chinese people. PNoy should sacked the police officers and men, officials and others who made this Philippine bus hostage thriller a black eye to the new government.

The Philippine National Police should have a well trained and professional police SWAT that can handle hostage situation. The government should act swiftly and should have good negotiators.

This Philippine bus hostage thriller should not happen again and be a lesson to all who functions as protector of the people.

Noynoy Aquino: Labor Contractualization

Noynoy Aquino, the son of the late President Corazon Cory Aquino and Ninoy Aquino not in favor of abolishing labor contractualization. Noynoy Aquino who is gunning for the presidency of the Philippines on May 2010 elections will not sweep the labor votes that comprise a big chunk of the voting population.

Noynoy Aquino favors the rich more and not the laboring masses. His political party, Liberal Party, favors the employers more than the downtrodden workers. Noynoy should think about the majority of the population than the minority elite politicians and rich families if he want to get votes.

Noynoy Aquino should dialogue and get advises from labor sector leaders, from the masses of the poor if he wants to get the sympathy and votes of the workers.

Labor contractualization is a bad policy that must be abolish to alleviate the misery of the workers. The number of regular workers dwindled because of this contractualization policy. This generation will be a generation of contractual workers without benefits enjoyed by regular workers and employees. Imagine workers without company sick and vacation leaves.

Noynoy Aquino's statement on labor contractualization will not help his presidential campaign. Well maybe his statements on labor contractualization comes from his natural instinct as an employer, their family family owns Hacienda Luisita, who are bent on squeezing the laborers; low wages and no benefits, to extract more profits from the sweat and blood of the laboring masses.

If you are a wage earner and a contractual laborer or employee, are you going to vote for Noynoy Aquino who is pro labor contractualization?
